There have been increased reports of anti-social behaviour in the High Street, Midsomer Norton. A group of young people have been reportedly causing issues around the High Street and Holly Court.

22 January 2026
This priority will be closed pending an increase in reports. There have been a much reduced number of calls of ASB incidents in the High Street, Midsomer Norton.
If incidents increase, this priority will be reopened. Regular patrols will continue in the area.

9 November 2025
Additional patrols have been completed this week and will be continued next week in conjunction with community events including the town fireworks display and the remembrance parade.
Reports received of increased issues in and around Sainsbury’s. Noted by Neighbourhood Team and patrols will cover this area.

26 October 2025
Routine patrols have continued in the High Street and we will continue to complete these as a priority.
Calls of anti-social behaviour in the High Street have greatly decreased. Aside from some calls involving specific people there have been no further issues. The priority will remain though to ensure incidents are less likely.

After an increase in calls on the last review of this priority there has been a drop in calls to us regarding ASB in the High Street.
We will continue the patrols in the area to ensure the issues resolve.
Any issues in the area should be reported via the website, the 101 non-emergency number or via 999 if an immediate danger.

There has been a slight increase in calls in relation to this priority. They have been mainly around Holly Court and ASB from children and some criminal damage.
Patrols will continue and close communication with the shop owners/employees.

Patrols of the area are regular and a priority. We will continue patrols here and deal with any issues positively.
