Please keep your dog on a lead when walking through fields where livestock is present.

If you witness livestock worrying then please ring the Police on ‘101’.

  • Wednesday 3rd March, 2021

    We have made several visits to rural locations and farms and put up signage giving advice for dogs to be kept on leads near to livestock, we have also carried out several patrols advising people to be aware of this.

    If you see any livestock in distress please call 101 to report to Police.

  • Wednesday 27th January, 2021

    We have had no recent reports regarding livestock worrying, however it is still important that we protect livestock at this time of year therefore please keep your dog on a lead.

  • Saturday 16th January, 2021

    There have been several incidents where livestock have been attacked we are approaching lambing season therefore it is particularly important that we protect livestock at this time.
