Youths are congregating in and around Wellington Park at weekends. They are also gathering in the evening during the week.

They are drinking alcohol and substance misuse, Leaving litter and empty bottles behind and even trying to get adults to buy alcohol for them.

  • Wednesday 11th March, 2020

    Youths are still gathering in and around Wellington Park in the evenings and at weekends after the park is closed.

     

    They are leaving litter and damaging property. They are drinking alcohol and are involved in substance misuse. Leaving litter and empty bottles behind and even trying to get adults to buy alcohol for them.

    Wellington Beat Team is continuing to Patrol the area during the day and evening in an effort to minimise the anti-social behaviour in this area.

    With the lighter nights now on us, and warmer weather on the way, can I please as anyone who witnesses and instances of anti-social behaviour to report it either at Wellington Police Station or via 101
