The Wincanton Neighbourhood Policing Team have recently conducted Crime Prevention Assessments at local farms in cooperation with the Rural Affairs Unit.
Crime Prevention Assessments are a great opportunity to find out about some key rural crime preventative methods.

The Wincanton NPT have been collecting and developing intelligence relating to local farms and rural crime.
They have also been working alongside other NPT’s and departments to take a more cohesive approach to tackling rural crime.

The Wincanton NPT have had the A&S Rural Affairs Team do some training with them to be able to identify stolen plant machinery.
