ASB Using Vehicles At Night

Vehicles have been seen and heard from 22:00 until 01:00 – 02:00 usually around the weekends creating loud engine and tyre sounds, doing ‘doughnuts’ around the roundabouts and speeding throughout Wincanton, particularly around Morrison’s/Car Park, Morrison’s roundabout / Southgate Road and the A303 roundabout leading to McDonalds.

The police are aware of this behaviour, and is being looked at closely to keep the public safe from this type of ASB. Anyone involved should be aware of the law around using the roads and what is and is not acceptable. If you are caught, you will be dealt with for various motoring offences.

Please report any sightings of this type of behaviour and note time, place, registration numbers and make and model of the vehicles that are involved. Any digital evidence should be taken into consideration, making sure your safety is out first.
