Keeping dogs under control

We have had numerous calls regarding loose dogs on public roads in the rural areas of Yeovil, such as Cokers, Odcombe, Hardington’s.

Due to the high number of calls regarding this, we ask that if you see any dogs unaccompanied or out of control, report this to us on 101.

    Recently, there have been numerous reports of sheep being attacked and killed by dogs in our rural communities.

    Be aware, when walking your dogs to keep them under control and if necessary keep on a lead.

    The rural police team are investigating these serious incidents and regular patrols are ongoing.
