Motorists are being urged to avoid the M5 in North Somerset following a single vehicle road traffic collision earlier this morning, which forced a lengthy section of the motorway between Burnham-on-Sea and Portishead to be closed as a precaution. The vehicle was in collision with an pose carrying an 11,000 volt electricty power cable
