Avon and Somerset Police are committed to being open, honest and accountable. We do this by publishing the results of all previous Freedom of Information requests on our website and by providing a detailed Publication Scheme containing information that the public may wish to access.

Before making the request, it is worth checking to see if the information required has been published on the website already by searching our Previous Freedom of Information Requests covering nearly 200 different topics.

Due to the current coronavirus situation, we are not able to process any requests made by post as our FOI team are working remotely.

Where the information you require is not already available online, you can make a request:

We would appreciate due to the current situation if you could consider if it is vital to the public’s interest to receive this information. If it is not vital we ask to you delay submitting your request.

As it may require diverting police officers away from their regular duties to provide you with a response.

If you would like to withdraw a request previously submitted, email
