Avon and Somerset Police are committed to being open, honest and accountable. We do this by publishing the results of all previous Freedom of Information requests on our website and by providing a detailed Publication Scheme containing information that the public may wish to access.

Before making the request, it is worth checking to see if the information required has been published on the website already by searching our Previous Freedom of Information Requests covering nearly 200 different topics.

How do I make a request?

Where the information you require isn't already available online, you can make a request:

Make sure you include:

  • Your name and address
  • The information you would like to access
  • The way you would like the information to be sent to you (eg paper copy, via email)

Please note: We will normally provide the information within 20 working days as required by the Freedom of Information Act.
