Response
Avon and Somerset Police currently have two Police Officer Uplift programmes, Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP) and Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA). The following two tables shows the number of applications for each programme broken down by gender and ethnicity in the requested time frame.
The final table shows the number of applications that have come from other paths, broken down by gender and ethnicity in the requested time frame. While we understand your request to refer only to the Police Officer Uplift recruitment programme, for the avoidance of doubt we have also provided details relating to applications from transferees from other forces, police re-joiners, 30 plus, Professional Policing Degree and Police Staff Investigator to Detective Constable.
