  • How many cars were reported stolen to Avon and Somerset Police in the period between and inclusive of May 1, 2020 and April 30, 2021?
  • How many cars reported stolen to Avon and Somerset Police in the period between and inclusive of May 1, 2020 and April 30, 2021 were successfully recovered by the force?
  • A list of cars by manufacturer and model reported stolen to Avon and Somerset Police in the period between and inclusive of May 1, 2020 and April 30, 2021

Response

Between 1st May 2020 and 30th April 2021 here were a total of 1,863 occurrences of ‘theft or unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle.’ Of this number 727 vehicles were recorded as ‘car.’ Please note however 324 occurrences do not have a vehicle type listed.

Of those with a property type of car the following positive outcomes were identified;
