Reflective practice review procedure

Practice Requiring Improvement and the Reflective Practice Review Process are introduced by the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020 (the Conduct Regulations).

They apply to Avon and Somerset police officers, special constables, and police staff who may show “underperformance or conduct not amounting to misconduct or gross misconduct, which falls short of the expectations of the public and the police service as set out in the policing Code of Ethics.”
