Our investigation into a rape in Bristol last year featured on the BBC’s Crimewatch Roadshow today.

The incident happened at about 1am on Friday, 5 October 2018. A man approached a woman in her late teens outside McDonalds on the Horsefair. He then took her to St Paul’s area of the city and sexually assaulted her. The offender is described as Asian, about 5ft 6ins tall and wore a black hooded top, jeans and black trainers.

We are ensuring the victim has access to any help and support she may need.

Officers are releasing a longer CCTV clip showing a man they want to identify.
