Witnesses sought after robbery of 85-year-old woman

We’re appealing for the public’s help after an elderly woman was pushed to the floor and robbed.

The 85-year-old victim was pushed from behind by a man wearing a dark coloured hooded top/ coat as she entered a property in the Crow Lane area of Bristol.

Her handbag containing cash and bank cards was then stolen from her.

The incident happened on Friday (18 October) sometime between 9.25pm and 9.40pm.

Investigating officer PC Richard Allen said: “While thankfully the victim didn’t suffer any significant physical injuries, she has been left very shaken by this incident.

“If you were in the area around the time and saw anything suspicious I urge you to contact us.”
