Cadbury Heath assault - man and woman arrested

We have arrested a woman and a man following an investigation into an assault, which left a woman with facial injuries and an injury to her hand.

The incident happened between 1-2am on Sunday 20 October in Cadbury Heath.

Two men were arrested later that day and released under investigation, while police enquiries into the incident continued.

Following further enquiries into the incident we have now arrested a 19-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man – on suspicion of assault and perverting the course of justice.

Police enquiries into the incident are continuing.
