Appeal after attempted robbery of woman

We’re issuing CCTV images of two men we’d like to identify in connection with an attempted robbery in Bedminster, Bristol.

The victim, a 29-year-old woman, was walking along East Street at about 5.45am on Thursday 10 October when she was targeted by two men.

During the incident, one of the men tried to steal the woman’s handbag but she fought back. The men then ran off when another member of the public approached to help.

We’ve arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of conspiring to commit robbery and he has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
