A man’s been jailed for seven years for robbing two women of their jewellery in broad daylight.
Amor Baker, 30, targeted the two ladies in South Bristol in June 2018.
Baker, of Lambeth, tried to snatch a 73-year-old woman’s necklaces in Baynton Road on Monday 11 June. He broke the chains but only made off with part of one.
On Saturday 30 June he succeeded in pulling another lady’s gold chain from round her neck. It happened as the 69-year-old waited at a bus stop in Parson Street with her six-year-old granddaughter.
Baker was jailed at Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday 3 December.
