Two men and a teenage boy in court charged with burglary offences

Two men and a teenager boy from Bristol are charged with a number of burglary-related offences.

Christopher Sweeney, 28, of Goulston Road, Jimmy McDonagh, 23, of Littlestoke Lane, and a 16 year old boy are due to appear at Bristol Magistrates Court today charged with burglary and a number of other related offences.

All three defendants are charged with burglary in connection with an incident on 11 December in which a property on Marksbury Road in Bedminster was burgled and a number of personal effects and car keys were stolen.

Sweeney is also charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously (on the 11th December), driving a motor vehicle when above the alcohol limit, driving whilst disqualified, taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, and using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without 3rd party insurance.

McDonagh is also charged with being carried in/on a motor vehicle taken without the owner’s consent, and making off without making payment.

The 16 year old boy is charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously, driving a vehicle which had been taken without the owner’s consent, and possession of a knife blade/sharply pointed article.
