Yeovil pair in court charged with burglary and fraud

A woman and a man from Yeovil are each charged with burglary and three counts of fraud.

Natasha Cottle, 43, and Billy Chapman, 38, both of Newton Road in Yeovil, are due to appear at Taunton Magistrates Court today charged in connection with an incident on 9 December in which a property on East Street in Martock was burgled and bank cards, jewellery, a TV and car keys were stolen.

The fraud charges relate to an incident in which stolen bank cards were used in a number of businesses across Yeovil and Martock on 9 December.

Chapman is also charged with two counts of theft in connection with an incident in which a man stole alcohol and food from a Wetherspoons pub in Yeovil on 19 November and another incident in which alcohol was stolen from Asda supermarket in Yeovil on 23 November.
