Can you help us find missing George?

We continue to appeal for the public’s help to find missing 18-year-old George.

He is white, approximately 5ft 7ins tall, with short, brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jogging bottoms, and orange/grey shoes.

He was last seen at around 8.20pm on Thursday (17 September) in the Woodlands Road and Pier Road area of Portishead. He may appear disorientated and confused.

We are keen to hear from anyone who has CCTV, doorbell and dashcam footage in that area who have not yet spoken to police.

We are especially keen to hear from anyone who may have been walking along the beach at that time of night. We are aware of one man who was in the area at the time who may have seen or spoken to George, and would like to speak with him.

Detective Chief Inspector James Wasiak said: “We are grateful to those members of the public who have been out assisting us in our search for missing George.

“We would urge the public not to put themselves at risk by walking across the mud, in rocky conditions or at height. We have a specialist team of qualified search experts who can reach some of the more challenging areas.

“We are really keen to hear from anyone who was in the area or have relevant footage, this can help us to be more targeted in our searches to locate George.

“We are maintaining contact with his family who are understandably very worried and want George home safely.”

George has links to Clevedon and Portishead and had been travelling on foot when he went missing.
