Our enquiries are continuing following a fatal road traffic collision in Bristol last night (10/01).
We were called just after 9pm to a serious collision in Creswicke Road, near Airport Road.
A car was in collision with a pedestrian at the location close to a nearby petrol station.
Sadly, the pedestrian, a man in his 20s, died at the scene as a result of the injuries he sustained.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in custody at this time.
A full investigation has been launched and one of our priorities is to ensure the victim's next of kin are given all the support they need.
The road has now re-opened but the garage remains closed as our investigation continues.
We would urge anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us immediately on 101 and quote crime reference number 5217006829.
