CCTV appeal over arson with intent to endanger life - Knowle

Added on 16 May 2018 at 12:47

We've released CCTV images of a man we'd like to trace as part of our enquiries after a caravan was set on fire while two people slept inside.

It happened at just after 2am on Wednesday 14 March outside a house in Colchester Crescent, Knowle. CCTV shows a man walking past the address at around that time.

Thankfully the couple sleeping in the caravan escaped without injury, however the householder suffered burns while moving another vehicle away from the blaze.
The caravan was destroyed in the fire, and the windows and frontage of the property it was parked outside were damaged.

Anyone who can help us identify the man on the CCTV, or who has any other information which could help, is asked to get in touch online, or by calling 101, quoting reference 5218054890.

Alternatively ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. They never ask your name or trace your call. You could even qualify for a reward and still remain anonymous.
