Report My Loss

Report My Loss is a service which enables you to upload detailed descriptions and photographs of lost items, greatly increasing the chance of the property being returned to you.

To report lost property visit the Report My Loss website.

This will help us to identify the owner when items are reported as being found. The item can quickly be matched to lost property using a simple search engine and you will be contacted straight away.

If the property is lost within our force area then it is free to make a report.

If you live in our force area and want to report something you lost in another area then a fee of £3.95 will apply.

In addition to this, you will also get a loss reference number and report certificate that can be used immediately with your insurance company.

This process is much more effective and efficient than reporting the loss directly to us.
