Anti-Social Behaviour – Gloucester Road

On going anti social behaviour issues on Gloucester road.

Issues include:

Aggressive begging outside large shops.

We work along side other local agencies to offer support to people who find them selves at risk of homelessness or already rough sleeping.

Homeless or at risk of being homeless

Parking issues on limits of crossings, mainly zebra crossings.

(Parking on ZigZags)

Traffic Offence Reports will be issued to drivers who we see stopped, waiting  or park on the zig zags or the crossing.

In some cases a section 172 letter may be sent to the registered keeper.

  The team engage with people begging and being anti-social on a daily basis.

  We work in partnership with our Streetwise Team in order to combat this and signpost the individuals towards organisations that can offer them help.

  Recently a male that was causing daily issues on Gloucester Road was issued a Criminal Behaviour Order banning him from the area. This has resulted in a significant improvement in the area.
