Anti-Social Behaviour – Gloucester Road

On going anti social behaviour issues on Gloucester road.

Issues include:

Aggressive begging outside large shops.

We work along side other local agencies to offer support to people who find them selves at risk of homelessness or already rough sleeping.

Homeless or at risk of being homeless

Parking issues on limits of crossings, mainly zebra crossings.

(Parking on ZigZags)

Traffic Offence Reports will be issued to drivers who we see stopped, waiting  or park on the zig zags or the crossing.

  Arrests have been made in relation to a male causing anti-social behaviour outside Sainsbury’s in Bishopston. The neighbourhood policing team continues to work closely with partner agencies to address the issues and ensure that this behaviour does not continue. We remain committed to tackling anti-social behaviour and supporting local businesses, residents, and visitors to help keep the area safe and welcoming for everyone.

  Forward Planning

  We will continue to monitor the area through high-visibility patrols and ongoing engagement with local businesses and partner agencies. Residents are encouraged to report any further incidents so that appropriate action can be taken and any emerging issues can be identified promptly.

  The team engage with people begging and being anti-social on a daily basis.

  We work in partnership with our Streetwise Team in order to combat this and signpost the individuals towards organisations that can offer them help.
