Inclusive Policing Partnership
The local beat team is working closely with community groups to improve access to policing services, ensuring residents can easily seek advice, support, and assistance with issues affecting them. Through regular engagement and partnership working, we aim to address community concerns and provide reassurance to those who need it most.
We have worked closely with the SENDaWelcome group, which aims to support members of the SEND community. Together, we are looking to improve access to policing and help ensure that everyone feels comfortable engaging with local officers and accessing support when needed.
Through this partnership, we aim to better understand and address the challenges people may face in their daily lives, including accessibility barriers, discrimination, and personal safety concerns. By working together, we hope to create a safer, more inclusive community where everyone feels supported, valued, and heard.
