The team has successfully identified the individual and have since arrested and charged him with several offences, including assault, public order offences, and shop theft. In addition to the criminal charges, the individual has been issued with a Community Protection Warning (CPW). This warning is designed to prevent further offending by placing specific conditions on the individual’s behaviour and movements within the affected areas. Any breach of a CPW is an offence and may result in a fine or further action under ASB legislation, alongside the ongoing criminal investigation.
