ASB around retail premises

We have received an increase in reports of anti social behaviour in retail outlets within the town. In particular Asda, Strode Road and B+M on The Triangle. Officers continue to proactively patrol the area and engage with staff and those suspected of causing the anti-social behaviour.

Recently a number of ASB warning letters have been issued to young people engaged in ASB at Asda which is the first step to try and prevent further poor behaviour.

We continue to take reports of ASB seriously and will look to take positive action where we can.

  Your Neighbourhood Policing Team has engaged with local retail outlets to address issues of anti-social behaviour. This has included regular patrols in the area and speaking with young people, providing advice and guidance regarding their behaviour in and around these locations.
