Vehicle crime in Clifton

There has been a marked rise in the offence of theft from motor vehicle within the two Clifton ward areas. The main offending pattern is overnight with entry gained via a smashed window.

There has also been a number of day time forced entries into works vehicles with tools stolen.

Please remove all valuables from vehicles and leave glove boxes open so it can be seen that there are no items worth stealing inside.

Where possible park in well lit areas and check your vehicle regularly.
