Shop Theft- Crewkerne town centre

Shoplifting is a reoccurring issue that impacts businesses and the community.

Crewkerne Neighbourhood policing team continue to work with retailers, security officer to encourage reporting and reduce the amount of shop theft by dealing proactively with those that engage with shoplifting.

Action:

1. Regular Patrols:
   • Maintain a visible presence in the community to deter crime and provide reassurance to business.
2. Liaising with Local Shops:
   • Build positive relationships with retailers  and security officers to encourage reporting.
