Anti-Social Behaviour on Chester St ; Wood Street.

Over the recent months we have been experiencing an increase in anti-social behaviour around the area of Chester Street and Wood Street, this has included on street drinking and drug dealing. The anti social behaviour and street drinking continues to be an issue down onto St Marks Road and the corner of Ladbrokes, Residents, Shoppers and Traders report that they feel uncomfortable.

As a neighbourhood team we have been conducting patrols within the area and working to identify individuals involved and will be looking to issue warnings and notices using ASB legislation.

If you see any of this behaviour and feel harassed, alarmed or distressed please report this to us by either using our online reporting system or calling 101 or 999 in an emergency.

    We continue to see issues around St Marks Road and Chester Street, including street drinking, drug dealing, and drug use. As we enter the new year, our team remains committed to tackling these problems. We will maintain regular patrols in these areas to deter criminal activity and engage with the community to improve safety.

    Joint work with the housing association to reclaim an address being cuckooed, this was done successfully.

    There does continue to be an issue with drug dealing and anti social behaviour at the location, patrols will continue.

    Please report any issues on 101 and call 999 in an emergency.

    Street drinking and Anti social behaviour continues to be an issue, this is not helped by the good weather. The neighbourhood Team have continued with their patrols of the area and have been utilising powers under the anti social behaviour legislation to effectively prevent and address incidences of anti social conduct.

    Neighbourhood team have recently enforced this area with a 48 hr dispersal notice and will look to implement this again in the near future to try clear the area

    A level of anti social behaviour still continues in the area of Wood St and Chester St, with street drinking in the area also being reported.

    The neighbourhood team continue their patrols of the area and request that any issues are reported either via 101/999 or the website.
