Summer Community Focus

Our focus for Summer will be reducing crime within our communities and to engage with our many visitors.   We will continue to look for opportunities to educate our communities about how to keep yourself safe from Fraud by speaking to groups and individuals.  We will be visiting and patrolling local beauty spots to remind visitors not to leave valuables in their unattended vehicles.

There will be pop up police posts in villages offering contact and bike registering.

  We have been making the most of the gorgeous weather with visits to community events.   Last week was a busy one with visits to Dunster Fair and Cutcombe fete.   It was great to meet some many of our communities and visitors whilst giving advice, registering bikes and offering fun activities for the children.   We have also been out and about on foot patrol.

  We will be holding pop up police posts on 15th August as well as attending Dulverton Farmers Market and Clatworthy fete on 29th August.

  PCSOs have continued to patrol the beauty spot areas, we have visited a victim of fraud to offer support and crime prevention.

  We have Dunster fair on the 29th where we will be in attendance pop over and say hi and get some crime prevention advice.
