Recent analysis shows a positive reduction in reports of anti-social behaviour affecting Filwood Broadway and the surrounding area.
Following a period of increased demand earlier in July, calls to police have reduced significantly, with no further reports received at this location since 15 July 2026. During the review period, Filwood Broadway accounted for around a third of all incidents reported across the wider Filwood area, making it one of the key locations of concern. However, the absence of any recent calls represents a welcome improvement.
This positive trend has been supported through ongoing partnership work involving Avon and Somerset Police, Bristol City Council and local youth outreach services. Youth workers are now regularly engaging with young people in the area, providing positive diversionary activities, offering support and guidance, and encouraging responsible use of public spaces. This early intervention approach aims to build positive relationships, reduce anti-social behaviour and help young people access services and opportunities within their communities.
Residents are still encouraged to report incidents as they occur. If you witness anti-social behaviour, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action. We also continue to welcome any CCTV, mobile phone footage or other information that may assist ongoing work in the area. The online evidence submission portal linked above remains available for anyone wishing to provide footage or information relating to incidents in and around Filwood Broadway. -

Thank you to all those who have submitted footage via the online reporting portal. As a direct result of this information, we have been able to identify a number of key individuals believed to be responsible for the anti-social behaviour.
Officers will be attending the home addresses of those identified in due course, where we will seek to engage with both the individuals concerned and their parents or guardians, with a view to addressing this behaviour and preventing any further incidents.
