Anti-social behaviour – Urban Quarter

We have received recent contact regarding the increase in anti-social behaviour. Of groups throwing items at properties and of suspected drug use.

We would request any sightings of ASB or suspicious activity is called in to us via 101, or 999 if an emergency.

  Since the creation of the problem solving plan (PSP), the NPT has been collating data and carrying out extended patrols based on the reports.

  Warnings have been issued, behaviour contracts issued and offenders have been made to pay for damage caused, based on the evidence found.

  Further actions will continue to be made, but demand for Police has decreased due to the proactive engagement.

  Due to an increase in calls in the last week, a dedicated problem solving plan has been created to collate details of anti social behaviour, with which the neighbourhood team can then proactively target locations.

  The NPT will then identify those involved and appropriately deal.
