Theft From Motor Vehicle
There has been an increase in vehicles being broken in to and items taken in the Lockleaze area, this is taking place overnight, offenders are taking various items.
We urge residents to remove all valuables from their vehicles and ensure anything that does remain is out of sight to reduce the vehicle being targeted.
Neighbourhood officers have been carrying out both Hi-Visibility patrols as well as covert operations, this has resulted in some stolen items being returned to their rightful owners, they will continue to conduct these patrols.

As a part of Neighbourhood Policing week the local beat team have visited the local building merchants and provided them with security advice and crime prevention materials.
We will also be visiting building merchants on Monday 29th January to offer advice to the trades people in regards to keeping their vehicles and tools safe.

On Saturday 7th October, local neighbourhood officers had reunited a set of golf clubs that had been stolen from a vehicle two nights prior, with the owner.
