Working Together to Tackle Anti-Social Behaviour

Avon and Somerset Police, in partnership with Bristol City Council, are aware of reports of anti-social behaviour affecting residents in Purdown, Stoke Park, and Heath House Lane.

Your support is vital in helping us address these concerns effectively. Please don’t assume someone else has reported it—every report matters.

Actions

  • 3 September 2025

In comparison to last year, the number of calls relating to unlicensed music events being held at Stoke Park/ Purdown has dropped.

The local neighbourhood team will continue to monitor any further incidents that may take place.

If you are affected by incidents of this nature, please report to the police.

  • 10 January 2025

In response, agencies have met to share information and develop a strategic action plan to
address Anti-Social Behaviour. An effective and proportionate response from agencies
depends heavily on public reports. Therefore, if you are affected by Anti-Social Behaviour,
we strongly encourage you to report it to the Police by calling 101.

    When reporting, please:
    ▪ Provide detailed information, including exact times, descriptions of what you have
seen or heard, the number of people involved, and the nature of the Anti-Social
    Behaviour.
    ▪ Provide any vehicle registration plates if you see offenders arriving or leaving the
    area.
    ▪ Report incidents as they occur, rather than after the fact.
    ▪ Specify the exact location, if known. You can use the what3words app to pinpoint
the precise location of the incident.
    ▪ Mention whether you have any evidence, such as photographs, videos, or sound
recordings, that document the anti-social behaviour.
