We are pleased to announce the Minehead PCSO’s will be holding a FREE Bike Marking Event taking place shortly after Christmas. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to prevent bicycle theft and keep our community safe.

Bike marking is a simple yet effective method to deter theft and assist in the recovery of stolen bicycles. Whether you’ve received a new bike as a Christmas gift or simply want to protect your existing one, this event is for you.

Open to all members of the public
Completely free of charge
No appointment necessary – just bring your bike along

Your bike will be marked and registered on the National Bike Register Database, the UK’s leading online bicycle identification system. This database is accessible to police forces nationwide, making it easier to reunite stolen bikes with their rightful owners.

Our team will be on hand to mark your bike and provide advice on theft prevention. This is a great opportunity to safeguard your property and meet your local policing team.
