Anti social behaviour in vehicles

We’re getting complaints about vehicles being driven too fast on rural roads, and in an anti social manner
These roads can be narrow, have sharp bends, hidden junctions, and unexpected hazards like tractors, walkers, cyclists, animals, or horses. Driving at speed leaves very little time to react and can have serious consequences if something goes wrong.

If you’re experiencing speeding or dangerous driving in your area, please report it to us so we can build a clearer picture and take appropriate action. Slowing down and driving to the conditions really does help keep everyone safe.

    Speeding on Rural Roads

We’ve received concerns about vehicles travelling at excessive speeds on rural roads. Speeding can significantly increase the risk of serious collisions, particularly on narrow or winding routes where visibility is limited.

If you witness ongoing issues or have concerns about speeding in your area, please report them to the police. Your information helps us identify problem areas and take appropriate enforcement action, when conducting our patrols.

We are conducting patrols in our rural areas.

    You can report concerns via:
    101 (non-emergency)

In an emergency, always call 999.

Let’s work together to keep our roads safe
