Parking around schools

We have seen an increase of calls with parking out side schools

Parking outside schools is for child safety , with key rules  no stopping/parking on yellow zig-zag lines (school keep clear zones)and double yellow lines even briefly to maintain clear sightings for children crossing

we are conducting patrols at school drop off and pick up times and will deal with these incidents

  Parking outside schools – Please help us keep children safe.

  PCSOs are conducting patrols during drop-off and pick-up times where possible.

  We are still receiving calls about unsafe parking outside local schools.

  To help keep children safe, please follow these key rules:

  Do not park on zig-zag lines

  Respect all ‘school keep clear’ zones

  Your cooperation helps us protect children and keep the school environment safe for everyone
