Rural Poaching
It is apparent that surrounding areas are being subjected to incidents of poaching on farmland.
This causes distress to the quarry being attacked (mainly Hares) & criminal damage is known to be caused to fencing/gates & ground due to vehicles being driven off road to access land.

Patrols of local known poaching areas are in place when conducting Village patrols.

Regular patrols of locations within the area of known previous historic sites used for Hare coursing.
Many land owners have followed advice of securing entrances to fields with boulders & containers making it difficult for any unwanted off roaders to gain access to ground.
This has resulted in very low reports of this activity, however patrols will continue to provide reassurance & deter incidents.
