Trailer Theft Shepton Rural Villages
Trailers including Horse Boxes have recently been stolen on the outskirts of Shepton rural Villages towards Midsomer Norton.
Please stay alert & ensure all small plant equipment is secure when not in use, lets work together to prevent further thefts.
Report any suspicious activity taking note of any evidential descriptions & registration numbers of vehicles to your local Police or PCSO.

Continued patrols are being conducted in our local rural areas during day light & evening hours to deter intruders, this deterrent can be maximised by securing property to make it difficult to remove. Protecting your own equipment also protects your time & inconvenience.

Reported theft of power tools from a stationary works van in West Pennard whilst the owner was working nearby.
Please remember to secure belongings & vehicles. Opportunists will take advantage of any given situation to steal property.
Please don’t be a victim remain vigilant.
Police patrols can deter but we have a wide area to cover, preventing access to high value goods is significant in avoiding time & costs of replacing your valuable equipment.

The beginning of October has already seen the Theft of a Quad Bike overnight on the outskirts of Shepton Mallet.
Please secure smaller vehicles including Motor cycles, in order to make these items less attractive to remove.
As always Neighbourhood patrols are on going within the Rural areas, during daylight & evening hours.

This month has seen the theft of a Hilux & Ifor Williams trailer in a village bordering the boundary of Shepton Mallet rural area.
Please remain vigilant, secure vehicles & small plant equipment.
The evenings are drawing in, motion lighting is worth installing to detect unwanted activity & a great deterrent for any property.
Patrols are on going during day light & evening hours.
