Anti-social behaviour – Church Road

We have been receiving a large amount of calls regarding anti-social behaviour on Church Road, in particular there has been an issue with street drinking. We have been conducting joint patrols along with the Streetwise Team to see if help can be offered. Positive action is being taken by issuing warnings and notices to street drinkers with conditions. Patrols will continue.

Patrols in the Church Road area are continuing in an attempt to deter anti-social behaviour.
1 July 2026

Three Community Protection Warnings and two Community Protection Notices have been issued to known street drinkers and beggars with conditions surrounding Church Road. Patrols are continuing.
22 January 2024

To date, a further two Community Protection Notices have been handed to known street drinkers who cause Anti-Social Behaviour on a regular basis. Patrols are still ongoing and persons will be breached if seen breaking their conditions.
