Cold Calling

The Mendip Policing area has received numerous calls over the last few days of males attending various villages and towns, knocking on doors and trying to sell occupants cleaning products.

This type of activity is known as “Nottingham Knockers”

The Police advise residents to not buy any of these products and to ask them to leave and if they refuse, we ask residents to call the Police and for a police resource to be dispatched and deal with accordingly.
