Possible Drug Activity, Meare Village

We have had a recent concern raised to the Neighbourhood Team about possible drug activity in the location of the village playing fields and surrounding area.
The local Neighbourhood Team will continue to monitor this location when we can, through targeted patrols and we will deal with any criminal offences that we come across appropriately.
If any local residents in the area believe they are witnessing drug activity, we ask them to continue to report this to us, at the time it is happening, with as much information as possible, including any registration plates of any vehicles seen.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team have conducted high visibility foot and mobile patrols around the Muddy Lane Playing fields and surrounding housing estates.
We have also engaged with local residents living near the vicinity for re-assurance and have encouraged them to continue to report any further suspicious activity if it occurs.
Patrols will continue in the area when we are able to do so.
