Shoplifting

Shoplifting, sadly, continues to be a national problem but also locally here in the Street area and as such, we want to re-assure the public and local businesses that the Neighbourhood Policing Team and our colleagues from our response teams, are increasing patrols in the High Street and Clarks Village, where we can, as well as other local shops in the area, to be a visible presence where possible, to deter any shoplifters but also to take positive action with those individuals that we come across and put before the courts.

We encourage all businesses to continue to report any further shoplifting incidents which takes place to us, by calling the 101 number, or by using the online reporting form.
