Speeding at Butleigh Village

Locals have raised concerns about inappropriate speeds by some motorists travelling thorough the villages of Butleigh and Butleigh Wootton.

The local beat team will continue to work alongside our colleagues from the Speed Enforcement Unit and continue to pay periodic checks in these area’s when we are able to do so.

Avon and Somerset Police also offer our “Community Speedwatch Scheme” to members of the public, who can be trained and hep police by recording registration plates of any speeding vehicles.
