The Neighbourhood Policing Team remains committed to addressing the ongoing concerns around drug dealing and drug use in our area. This issue affects not only those directly involved but also the wider community, impacting safety, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Over the past year, we have taken significant steps to combat this problem. One of the key measures has been increasing patrols in identified hotspot areas. These targeted patrols have helped us disrupt criminal activity, gather intelligence, and provide reassurance to residents. We’ve also worked closely with partner agencies and community organisations to ensure a coordinated approach, because tackling this issue requires more than enforcement—it needs prevention and support.

As we move into the new year, this work will continue. Our officers will maintain a visible presence in problem areas, and we will keep listening to your concerns. Community intelligence is vital, so if you see suspicious activity or have information that could help, please report it to us. Every piece of information, no matter how small, can make a difference.

Together, we can make our neighbourhood safer and stronger. Thank you for your ongoing support.
