We are approaching the end of the school year, and our team remains committed to supporting local schools through to the end of term. This year, we have successfully partnered with five primary schools to deliver our Mini Police initiative, which will continue into the next academic year. Our PCSOs maintain a visible presence during school start and finish times, helping to keep students safe. In addition, we have delivered targeted sessions on personal safety, knife crime awareness, and hate crime, equipping young people with the knowledge to make safer choices.

As we move into the Spring period, our team continues to strengthen our partnership with local schools. We remain committed to providing a visible and reassuring presence both inside and around school grounds. This support helps pupils feel safe as they arrive and leave each day, offers staff a reliable point of contact for any concerns, and gives parents added confidence that their school community is well‑protected.

Our visits often include engaging with pupils during break times, attending school assemblies, or being available at the gates during peak times. These regular touchpoints allow us to build positive relationships, identify emerging issues early, and offer consistent reassurance to everyone within the school environment.

We’re here to support the community—if you see us out and about, feel free to say hello!
