Theft of vehicles

The Mendips have seen a recent increase in theft of vehicles, from across Street, Glastonbury, Wells and the surrounding villages.

We are encouraging people to make use of alarms, security lighting, CCTV and other prevention measures to secure vehicles. Any suspicious activity should be reported using the 101/999 services.

There has not been a specific trend in types of vehicles.
