  The legislation surrounding Section 59 warnings has recently changed. A prior warning is no longer required where a vehicle is being used in a manner that causes, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress or annoyance, and where the driver is committing an offence under Section 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 (Careless or Inconsiderate Driving) or Section 34 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 (Prohibited Off-Road Driving).

  We have recently seized a vehicle that was driving in a dangerous manner and caused distress to the local community.

  In the past week officers have seized vehicles for no Tax and assisting other officers in the seizure of stolen vehicles.
