    Neighbourhood officers have been working with the response officers to conduct speed checks in the local area and not only issue tickets but also provide words of advice to other road users.

  • 12 August 2025

    We have been conducting patrols in Watchet following some concerning reports of moped’s/motorbikes being ridden without helmets being worn.

    Please continue to make reports to Police via 999 or 101. We encourage you to call 999 if the incident is actively happening so that we can deal with appropriately.

    The local neighbourhood team are continuing to tackle offending vehicles in the local area. If you are aware of any issues with vehicles in your area please report this online or on 101.

    With the information given to us by members of our community, we have worked alongside our Roads policing team and local response teams to apprehend anti-social drivers.

    Due to reports from the local community, a vehicle was seized by local officers using DVLA powers for having no tax.

    Members of the community brought forward intelligence that enabled suspect vehicles to be stopped and seized for motoring offences.
